Former Manchester United player, Teddy Sheringham believes that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 will join Manchester United in the summer.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Inter Milan playmaker for over two seasons now, but it seems like the Dutch international might actually be on his way to Old Trafford this season.
Sneijder has had a very disappointing season with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan once again and has insisted that anything could happen in the future, which means that he is still contemplating over what he needs to do at the end of the current season.
However, Sheringham believes that United are finally going to get their man, given their need to reinforce the midfield and because of the fact that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson already tried to sing the player last season.
When talking about Sneijder and the possibility of him joining Manchester United, Sheringham is quoted to have said: “I think they will, without a doubt”
“The manager tried to sign Sneijder last year and when he likes someone he very rarely lets go of that bone and he will go back in for them.”
“He did the same for a lot of players – like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ruud-van-Nistelrooy-c31966. He had a broken leg when he first went in for him but he went back in for him a year later – it wouldn’t surprise me if he goes back in for Sneijder and he finally gets his man.”
United are in desperate need for some experience and stability in the middle of the park, given the way their current season took place. The team got so desperate to secure the midfield, that they had to go on and recall http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394 from retirement, in
order to avoid having any major problems along the course of the season.
Nonetheless, United are currently being linked with a number of players, but the way things are shaping up, Sneijder is more than likely to be on the top of the list at the moment.
At the same time, given how well Sheringham knows Ferguson, it is probably safe to assume that he knows just what the manager is going to be doing in the future.
