Sherwood AI5010 no sound from either channel

Question

I recently purchased a 2nd hand Sherwood amp but on arrival I couldnt get it to produce any sound ( I think both channels are blown). The power button lights up but having checked the speaker selector, balance input selector etc. there is still no sound. Any idea how to fix this problem?
