Shift 3 mp3 video player

i have a problem with my shift 3 mp3...the ting is dat i wus listeng 2 music when the record ting appears...and when the happens my music,videos,photos files wanst there any more...i dont know what happen but the thing is that when i plug the mp3 on windows media player it say that i do have music but when i unpluged the mp3 so i can see if i still have music but it says that i have no files...so i really dont know wut is going on with that mp3...can u plz help me with dis..?
