This bike should be the same as a CB360 as well. I just wanted to confirm which direction I would move my foot to shift up and down, also where the neutral is located. Say I'm stopped at a red light and I put the bike into neutral, when the light turns green is it simple to kick into first gear without loosing balance? Could I hold the weight of the bike up on my right leg while I kick it into first gear to take off?

  1. one down rest up so all the way down is first.. one above that is neutral. above that second and so on... when stop you either put in neutral or first and hold clutch and wait.. and only way to put in gear is with foot off ground

  2. One down, the rest up.

At a light, I normally keep the bike in gear.  If I need to move fast to get away from an impending accident, I just let out the clutch lever.  This is true when I am at a stoplight and there are no vehicles sitting behind me.  I am always watching in my mirrors to see if some knucklehead will stop in time or will plow into the my backside.
