Shih Tzu must haves?

I'm planning to adopt a Shih Tzu soon, and these are the supplies that I'm thinking about buying, please tell me if I need some other necessity . or if I'm buying way too much, tell me what I should remove . Thank you :)

Bed, treats, toys, shampoo, food, bowls, bristle brush, housebreaking pads .

His name means little lion, but there's nothing fierce about this dog. The Shih Tzu is a lover, not a hunter. Bred solely to be a companion, the Shih Tzu is an affectionate, happy, outgoing housedog who loves nothing more than to follow his people from room to room. In recent years, however, owners have started taking the Shih Tzu off their laps and into dog sports, training him for obedience, rally, and agility competitions.

Good job on ADOPTING. Butttt i dont know if youve ever filled a kong with peanut butter and stuck it in the freezer. Keeps them busy for hours.
