Shih-tzu Question?(grooming)?

Question

So i've heard that you have to groom shih-tzu's diffrently then most dogs due to their irregular hair growth.

i cut the hair that people usually tie up, but what about under the eyes, it's watery like it has tear liquid in it, should i clip it or leave as is Please please help, i dont want my puppy to get a eye infection.

let it all grow back out. then you comb the area  at the bridge of the snout up into a topnot (ponytail on front top of head). don't cut any fur around the eyes or you'll make the tearing worse. just use a damp cloth to keep it cleaned up. The hair down the back is parted down the middle.  

You can also buy products to keep the tear stains under eyes cleaned up.

i also have a shih tzu, its alright to cut the hair but about the teary thing under the eyes, you should also cut it because it might go to the dogs eyes.
