Shiloh Supreme carrying major chance in Williamhill.com Stakes at Newcastle
Shiloh Supreme is very much capable of taking a furious start and if the black dog succeeds in doing so, he will surely be able to bag a handy part of the cash prize in the Williamhill.com Stakes, a 480 metres A2 contest, set to be held at Newcastle on Saturday, April 13th.
The black dog was mighty impressive on his previous venture at this level. On March 7th, he beat Saving Ron by a short head’s distance. The son of Bruce Ali although did not run well on the recent trial, the memories of his previous win are still fresh.
The maverick hound has been performing quite consistently over the past few weeks. If the November-09 hound manages to deliver her one hundred percent, he will be having a wonderful chance of bagging the big prize.
Among his rivals are: Gypsy Bluebird, Pond Mozart, Cool Mint, Blaydon Races, and Direct Point. The 480 metres race is scheduled to begin at 21:15 GMT. A cash prize of 127 pounds is reserved for the ultimate champion.
As far as Pond Mozart’s prospects are concerned, fans may contemplate backing now eased a peg. The blue dog was third on his previous trip at this venue. Cool Mint may ultimately come up short. The draw is not very lucky for the brindle dog. He is likely to have a few nudges from the neighbours after leaving the third trap.
Gypsy Bluebird loves the fourth box, from where she is due to start today. The blue b***h was second last time around, when missing the gold medal only by 1¾ lengths. Direct Point showed plenty of sparkle last time. After two fine victories, the black dog is ready for more.
Blaydon Races needs great luck to be a part of the winning crew. The draw is not a problem, but the black dog nevertheless requires staying careful.
Gypsy Bluebird and Pond Mozart have been rated as joint favourites, but it will not be a problem-free journey for both of them. Shiloh Supreme is the one who could easily spoil their party. We wish the best of luck to all the contenders.
