Shimano Siren likely to dominate proceedings in Bedford Road 550 Maiden Dup
Shimano Siren has been awarded with the best odds for Bedford Road 550 Maiden Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, April 19, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will bag a cash prize of £150.
The runners will have to cover an overall distance of 550 metres to win the event, which is scheduled to begin at 20:45 GMT. Following are the names of the hounds, who have been confirmed for the race: Shimano Siren, Colorful Marco, Aclamon Tracey,
Schnizel, Westmead Jules and Yabba Genie.
The bookies have favoured Shimano Siren for today’s race, as she is a very good runner. She has been delivering consistent results at different venues, thus the punters will definitely be placing maximum number of bets on her.
The B. Adams’ trainee was not rated favourite for her last three races, but she still managed to give a tough time to her rivals. However, she was unable to win any of those events, which shows that she is not carrying the winning momentum at the moment
and might struggle at Henlow today.
Shimano Siren has raced at Henlow in the past, thus she will not have any issues with the track conditions. Her performances at this venue have been very good, which was the main reason behind the bookies favouring her. However, she might struggle
because of the longer distance to cover, as her stamina is not very good compared to some of the other runners.
Today’s favourite b***h is the daughter of Droopys Marco out of Schofield Damsel and was born in October 2009.
Colorful Marco might manage to spoil the party for the race favourite b***h, as he is carrying the winning momentum at the moment. He was victorious in his most recent outing, which will encourage the punters to risk some money in his favour.
The R. Holloway’s trained hound lacks consistency though, which might put him out of contention in the end. He is the son of Hondo Black out of Miss Coxcomb and was born in January 2009.
Apart from the top two favourites, Aclamon Tracey and Schnizel also have the potential to fight for race victory at Henlow.
