Shimano Swift, a risk worth taking in Spring Dash at Henlow
Shimano Swift has been delivering positive results over the past few weeks and deserves plenty of respect in the Spring Dash, being held at Henlow on Thursday, June 14, 2012. The fully exposed local is always worth a second glance.
The plan is to kick off the 277 metres flat race at 19:39 (GMT). Despite being in great form, B. Adams’ charge will have to come up with a special effort to stand first tonight. Among his rivals are: Droopys Tsonga, Clear Mind, Playfield Era and Pennys Pong.
Shimano Swift has a terrific record over this distance. In his last five appearances over 277 metres, the dashing hound was triumphant twice. He also secured the runner-up place on two occasions.
Despite the fact that both of his victories were not in this class, one should not overlook his winning momentum. In an open race last time, Droopys Maldini’s son missed the gold medal only by two and a quarter lengths.
Even though it was not a winning performance, he impressed everyone by stopping the clock in just 16.70 seconds. The hound will look to improve his work and earn the victory tonight.
Out of others, Droopys Tsonga seems to be most fascinating candidate. After completing the order of finish, S. Cahill’s trainee did a fantastic job and grabbed the top position by two and a half lengths.
The black dog is returning to Henlow after a good while and might take some time in adapting to the conditions. Despite the fact that the bookmakers have given him the highest starting price, College Causeway’s son does not look to be the safest option.
Pennys Pong was terrible in her previous outing and therefore, it would be a brave move to support her. Clear Mind’s recent trial suggests that he can go well. On the other hand, Playfield Era cannot afford to make a hash of the start out wide.
According to our calculations, Shimano Swift has the best chance of seizing the top rank. However, he will have to come up with an excellent effort. We wish the best of luck to all runners.
