is this any good? might buy this reel to go along with sufix elite line

  1. I think it looks decent, but I prefer the "low profile" baitcasters, for better thumbing control, flippin', and all day fishability.

    I just don't do the "round" ones, but it looks nice enough for the money.

    I also prefer Team Daiwa reels, and have never tried Shimano, so to each his own.


  2. I have the Shimano Corvalus CVL300 and I like it to flip with. I use #17 Berkley Trilene Flourocarbon Professional Grade on mine. Works like a charm!

  3. don't put suffix elite line get  Ultracast instead or powerpro maybe

  4. I agree with smiley_f I prefer the lower profile baitcasters not only for the better control and ergonomics but also for cast precision. Shimano makes top of the line reels that will work for just about any type of fishing out there. Honestly, even If I were to go deep sea fishing I would prefer to use a spincast reel over a deep sea baitcaster.
