Question:

Shindaiwa Backpack blower problem!?

Ever since I replaced the throttle cable of my Shindaiwa EB8510RT, which involved cleaning the carburetor, it has been acting very abnormally.

IT TURNS ON FINE AND STUFF BUT WHEN I MOVE THE CHOKE HANDLE TO THE BOTTOM POSITION, TO USE IT, THE BLOWER CHOKES UP AND DIES DOWN. IN OTHER WORDS, MOVING THE HANDLE FROM THE CHOKE POSITION TO THE BOTTOM DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE, THAT HAS MOVED SOMEWHERE ELSE AND IT IS A PAIN TO MAKE IT WORK.

EVEN WHEN YOU DO FIND THAT POSITION THE BLOWER STILL RUNS WEAKLY.

What's the problem???

  1. Maybe the cable is pulling in the opposite direction. Normally if you flood the motor this kind of thing happens.
