Borussia Dortmund’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 on Saturday,
April 7, at the Volkswagen Arena. The Borussians emerged as 3-1 winners courtesy of goals from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-Lewandowski-c31255 and Ilkay Gundogan. Mario Mandzukic scored the only goal for the hosts.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928 international mentioned that the upcoming game is a ‘do-or-die’ fixture for both sides and is therefore relishing the pressure. He claimed that Dortmund are in decent shape at the moment and a mouth-watering encounter
is on the cards when the Reds make a trip to the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday, April 11.
Kagawa mused that the coming week is immensely important for his side as Dortmund will meet two of the top sides within three days. The Borussians are also set to take on Schalke on Saturday, April 14, at the Veltins-Arena. While
talking during the post-match press conference, the Japanese further added:
"If we can beat Bayern and Schalke it would be huge for us. The next match (against Bayern) will have a huge influence on the championship race so I want us to enjoy that pressure. A good result would be fantastic. I'm looking
forward to it."
On the other hand, Kagawa revealed that Dortmund came under pressure after Wolfsburg pulled one goal back in the 61st minute. However, he congratulated Lewandowski for securing the three points after his late goal sealed
the victory for the visitors.
"Last week our 2-0 lead turned into a draw. We were somewhat concerned. Wolfsburg focused on the long ball so something could have happened at any time, and they had the advantage of playing at home. It's good for us that we didn't
give up another goal," Kagawa concluded.
Borussia Dortmund are currently atop the league standings with 66 points, three points clear of the Bavarian giants. A win over the Reds in three days time will most likely ensure them of this season’s title.
