before http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mohamed-Zidan-c26404 equalised in the 74th minute for the O-Fives. Both teams met on Saturday, March 03, at the Signal Iduna Park.
Kagawa mentioned that most of the players had returned back from international duty and therefore were lacking intensity. He admitted that his own performance was below par after missing several scoring opportunities especially
in the first-half.
While talking to reporters after the game, the 22-year-old further added:
“Personally it was very hard for me to switch over mentally in preparing for this match. I had various problems with my condition, so in a way I went into this game not fully prepared mentally. But players from other country's
national teams have the same problem, I think it had a big influence on the match."
On the other hand, Kagawa accepted the fact that his display was not up to the mark and that he was lucky to get a goal to his name. “If I say it went as I thought it would sounds strange, but I just met the ball well. The shot
went a little high so I was worried that it wouldn't go in, but it did and of course I'm happy about that,” he concluded.
As a result of this win, the Borussians are now seven points clear of second placed Bayern Munich, who lost their game at the weekend to Bayer Leverkusen. Dortmund will next be in action against FC Augsburg on Saturday, March 10,
at the SGL arena.
