The Borussia Dortmund midfielder expressed his delight on his side’s 1-0 win over Leverkusen as the reigning champions maintain their lead atop the league table.

The attacker insisted that Dortmund should have scored at least another goal in order to make the win more clinical. However, he admitted that his side truly deserved the victory as they dominated the proceedings throughout the
course of 90 minutes. He added that claiming all three points was very important as there is tough competition for the top spot.

qualified for the semi-finals of the German Cup, and will face Greuther Furth on March 21.
