Shinji kagawa delighted to be back in Dortmund colours after injury – Bundesliga news
2010/11 Bundesliga champions, Borussia Dortmund, were delighted to have their attacking midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 but his season was cut short by a serious
injury. He returned to first team action during Dortmund’s preseason game against HSK-Auswahi, played on Monday, July 4, which the Black Yellows won by a comprehensive 7-0 margin. Kagawa scored a hat-trick in that game.
The player was pleased to be back in Dortmund colours and hoped to have an injury free 2011/12 season. He was also looking forward to play in the UEFA Champions League next term and urged his team to maintain the same level of form and composure which propelled
them to the 2010/11 Bundesliga title. The youngster showed gratitude towards Dortmund officials for showing patience over his injury. He credited the medical staff for his early recovery and was determined to lead his team to more silverware at the conclusion
of the next season.
The Borussians Chairman, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has expressed delight at the player’s speedy recovery and wished him success for the coming season. He was also relieved to see the player back to his feet and further enthused, "We have seen in the first few
workouts that Shinji is his old self again. Technique, athleticism, everything is back."
The player suffered a metatarsal injury while on national duty with Japan, forcing him to miss the second half of the last season. The injury was initially deemed long-term, and Kagawa was left frustrated.
Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp, has also welcomed the Japanese international back among the ranks and assured him of his first team berth during the next term.
Kagawa joined Dortmund in 2010 and netted eight goals from 18 Bundesliga games. He started his career with Cerezo Osaka and scored 55 times from 125 league games. The 22-year-old made his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928 debut in 2008 and has 22 caps under his belt so far, bagging
five goals in return.
