Are there any great cruises that are affordable but have great activities, staterooms, services, etc. Also what should I bring with me on to the cruise like documents, etc and which go to San Lucas?

  1. This one looks fun, the ship is the voyager of the seas.  I think that's Royal Carribbean:

  2. Definately go with Royal Caribbean. I am 13 and will be 14 on the 7th. We are leaving for our 4th cruise on the 6th. It will be our 3 cruise with Royal Caribbean. They are amazing. My family likes them a lot. Also, the Voyager Class ships and the Freedom Class ships are the best.

  3. Your best answers will come from the internet.  Thr more you inquire and research the more you will learn and the more "deals" you will find.

Once you decide on a trip, the cruise company will send you all the info you need regarding what to do before you go, what documents, etc. are necessay plus other info.  Some of this is available before picking a cruise and/or from your travel agency.

Be aware, not all travel agents have the same deals so shop around.  Some promos have restrictions, e.g. sail date, type of cabin, etc. that will effect the final price.

Your friendly internet can provide you with a wealth of good info.  Remember to double check your cancellation rights and be especially careful of trip insurance restrictions.

The old bromide "let the buyer beware" is still valid so that you do not get taken advantage of.  I know, I've been there.

  4. try carnival.

like all cruises state rooms are tiny!!!

    service is extraordinary!

cruise documents...passport if you have one.

but i no that they have extended the time that you don't need a passport to go on cruises all you need is some form of identification ,eg. lincenses, and a birth certificate. however this way makes it alot more time consuming getting off the boat at ports. but still worth it.

  5. Yes , Royal Caribbean is just as affordable as Carnival is.

The difference being that Carnival is often more crowded , and most often a total party ship, so if youre into that kind of thing, then go Carnival. If you want seclusion, then go Royal Caribbean. The service is just as good as, in my opinion better, but on some ships not as many ammenities as Carnival has. But we liked avoiding the long dinner lines and crowded pool areas on Carnival. Have fun.

  6. Try this site: ibtraveling.com.  You can compare all the well known travel companies and choose which cruise you want to take.  Always remember to shut down your computer and restart it after you enter your credit card information, when doing business with any web site.  The cruise line's web site will tell you if you need any documents, etc.  Two weeks before you set sail, call the cruise line directly and ask for any free upgrades.  Book the cheapest cabin with a window and before you know it, you'll have a cabin near the top floor.  If you have a choice of ships, and you're under 50 years old, pick Carnival, you'll have lots of fun with them.  All ships seems to offer the same things, but Carnival has lots more to do while you're at sea to make the cruise more fun.

  7. CARNIVAL fits all your reqirements! Royal carribean is more expensive but way nicer!

  8. the actual cruise isnt that expensive, its once you get on board. mixed drinks and soda is extremely high. all cruise lines ask that you tip so much a day for every one that waits on you.. the internet is the best place to look around. you should get a passport in case you should need to fly home for an emergency.
