Shipping Guns to the UK?

Question

Is there a way to legally ship hunting rifles from the US to the UK to a citizen of the UK. Assuming all the proper paperwork has been done on the UK side and his gun club has agreed to receive them? Can somebody please provide information (website, BATF contacts) on this subject.

I though guns were illegal because they are bad, or that's what they people in that socialist police state have been brainwashed to think. They have outlawed ******* kitchen knives over 2".

Insert rant about the Orwellian UK.... Now:

Freedon of speech is dead, they wan't to censor the internet to about the standards of China but more, you have no rights to defy an order for the police to enter your home (**** that), watched by cameras that yell at you 24/7, and yet they pander to muslim fundies at every oppurtunity. For such an oppresive government they sure are a bunch of ******* when it comes to religion. They put microchips in your trash cans (I couldn't make this up if I tried). There are so zero tolerance when it comes to racism they arrested and charged an 18 year old with down syndrome with the intelligence of a 7-year-old for pushing a muslim girl (again I couldn't make this up if I tried). The court case was thrown out but... That police state has gone insane and I honestly feel sorry for those people.

you would more than likely have to send it through an FFL with an export license. they would know what to do, so contact one.

No.  The UK has suspended all firearms shipments to civilians.  Period.
