Shipping to a PO box. Sender did not put correct name; will I still recive package?

The sender did not put correct name on my package to my PO box. Will I still receive my package even tho the name is not correct. They did put the correct address. Any ideas on what I can do?

  1. If the name is a typo and is close to yours you should still get the package.  If they totally screwed up and put someone else's name, your chances are maybe 50-50.  The post office might assume that someone has moved in with you and that their mail is being redirected, so don't be surprised if they ask.


  2. Possibly, tell your local post office that you are expecting the package and the name on it and they will deliver it for you.
