Ok, we have a bunch of ups boxes just sitting here, we just switched to ups. Is it ok to ship via fedex using ups boxes? I say its ok (its just a box), but my coworkers say its terribly wrong... save some trees man.

  1. could get into refusal to ship condition, if you wish to use them, blackout the old shippers name on the box.

  2. You see competitor boxes in the sort all the time.  You don't have to worry about them damaging it... it means they got a customer from the competition!

You could argue its wrong... if it bothers you, call UPS and give the an opportunity to pick them up.

  3. unless u want fedex workers messing with your ups box throwing it around, stepping on it, spitting on it, slamming it on the ground...i say go for it!

  4. I'm glad you have the sense to know that it's "just a box" We're talking about shipping boxes here, not showing up at a Coke interview with a  Pepsi bottle in your hand. Go ahead and ship your UPS boxes and I guarantee nothing will come of it.

On a side note:  the person who says a Fedex employee will throw and damage a box that says UPS on it is a complete moron. The only boxes that get mishandled on purpose are the ones that say FRAGILE FRAGILE FRAGILE FRAGILE written on there by some pompous idiot too lazy to package it correctly.

  5. yes I work for Fedex and we see a lot of UPS boxes

    its fine to use them

(in fact even the post office gets them as well!
