Ships travelling to Canada?

I want to travel to Canada, either Toronto or Vancouver by ship. Does anyone know of any freight ships that accept passengers on any of these routes?

Freight ships normally do not accept passengers anymore.

I can't say for sure who does this any more but if you started with a call to Canada Steamship Lines, they might be able to point you in the right direction.  Most of their traffic is in the St. Lawrence Seaway system.

Difficult to answer without a starting point. What's the nearest sea port to your home and start again.

i think polish ocean lines (POL) operates many of there ships with a few passenger cabins.  and they also run between the great lakes and northern europe.  FEDNAV may also offer this on some of their ships.
