Shiras moose?

What are some speacial things about them?

And where can i find unique things about them and them in colorado?

they are smaller than the canadian moose and i suggest going to a national park or hunting grounds to find info on them or talk to a park ranger he or she should know quite a bit about them

Shiras moose are the smallest moose we have in North America, even though they weigh from 800 to 1400 pounds. Their antlers are smaller than other moose. And they are less in numbers in Colorado than in the northern states like Idaho and Montana. But from what I have read they are doing well in Colorado and their numbers are increasing. They are also called the Wyoming moose.

Some hunters call them the “low land moose” and many hunters I know that shot one found they had more parasites in them than other moose species.
