  1. I have had similar things happen in the laundry -- and the stain is always rust-colored and won't come out.

I believe what caused my stains was actually rust in an old washer or dryer. Search the tub of your washer and dryer for areas where the enamel has been chipped off and the metal underneath is rusting.  It might also help to run the washer through a rinse cycle before doing your laundry.

Rust stains often also come from ironing.  The internal parts of some irons will rust after time, and sometimes iron is deposited in the tank from the water.  In either case, it will come out on clothes when there is water in the iron.

If it is rust, it might come out with a little CLR or Lime-Away.  Test a spot first.

  2. same thing happened to my shirts this girl in math class (i guess she really likes me) i let her draw on my shirt then i washed it the same rust color came i used shout and scrubed like h**l then the color came right out

  3. could be

    use COLD water wash

The stains you do have will come out great if you

soak them in 1/2 cup oxiclean crystals dissolved in about a gallon of warm to hot water for a few hours.
