Shivering?

why do we shiver?

is it voluntary or involuntary?

i just kinda wanna know, because im shivering right now, so im curious.

  1. Shivering is the bodies response to a lowered body temperature. The muscles contractions are supposed to increase the body temperature.  It is an involuntary response. It is simply trying to warm you up.


  2. Its because our muscels contract when we are cold.
