If Bill Clinton didn't resign for turning the white house into his personal w***e house.......I don't think Spitzer should resign unless money laundering was involved....The thing is; it's not new or shocking for politicians to behave this way. s*x scandals and politics go hand in hand the real problem is we Americans are so hypocritical how many men from all walks of life are doing the same thing? h**l, our founding fathers did it.

I don't feel Spitzer should resign for only political purposes.  Many before and after him have done the exact same thing in political office.  He should resign if his wife wants him to quit for the embarrassment and shame he has put her through.  He needs to take into consideration how to restore his teenage daughters respect. If resignation can get him on track with those four women than that is what he needs to do.  Family will still be there regardless, and at this point he has no friends.  His fall displays for us all the height of arrogance, he needs to learn from this bitter lesson.

Bill Clinton didn't resign, and Spitzer had s*x with a woman who was paid to have s*x, not an intern who was paid to do office work.

I'm a Democrat and feel he should resign.  He got busted and should go down for it. No one is above the law even if he is governor.  In addition, I find it he played the holier than thou card. Busting prosititution and now getting busted for being involved in it.  IMHO he should do double the time.  It's not like he didn't know it was a bad thing to do.  And that goes for Republicans too.
