Sasaki has been proving his mettle for the last few months and continues his impressive form in the Denmark Open. In the quarter-final, the World Number Nine Sasaki played to his full potential and defeated Wing Ki, who made an upset in the event when he
defeated Lin Dan of China in the second round of the event.
The Japanese took 56 minutes of the court time to oust the Hong Kong shuttler in a rubber-set fight. Sasaki lost the opening game with a six-point margin but came back strongly to take the second set with the same margin. However, in the deciding game, the

In the second set, Sasaki changed his tactics and tackled the aggressive approach of his opponents by playing an attacking game. His smashes started to land in the right areas and he managed to get in strong position in the second game. His better and positive
game earned him second set with a margin of 21-15.
Sasaki played surprising badminton in the third set as he took no time in setting up an incredible lead in the first half. After the break, he continued his phenomenal performance and finished the game with a one-sided score of 21-7.
