Shock absorber leak{missing info}?

My car is a brava,mot form states,nearside front shock absorber has a serious fluid leak.

Don,t replace just the faulty one it will affect the handling.

you need to replace it but its best to do both sides for balance, I assume it failed as it should have

You will need a spring compressor. Buy the Haynes Manual! It will save you it's cost in no time. Advice re doing both sides is sensible. Fit quality shocks yourself and the car will handle as good as new.

No big deal, get it replaced, along with the other front one.

you need to replace both sides.if you dont it will affect the handling of the car in corners,will cause abnormal tire wear,and affects the way the braking system works.
