How can i tell if my springs are good?

It's called the jounce test and dodge man correctly described it. This test measures the shock/struts ability to dampen the springs oscillations.

The springs condition is more or less gaged by the ride height and ability to support the vehicles weight.

do the bounce test on it if it bounces over three times after you mash down on it a few times,then they need replaced,all you do is bounce it a few times,by mashing down  on a bumper and let go of it,if it keeps bouncing more than three times they,ll have to be replaced,simple easy test,good luck.
