Shoe donations to Third world?

UK address or details for a organisation that take kids shoes for donations out to the third world. Our kids feet grow so fast and I buy my little boy good shoes that cost me about £30 every 4months, they're still in really good condition.

I know the amount of Parasitic infection [shoes] could basically prevent if there was away of getting them out to the kids that need them. Any charity do this.

  1. If you live near Lancaster, they have a shoe recycling program.

  2. Why spend £30 on a pair of shoes that you know will only last 4 months.  You obviously have more money than sense.

  3. How amazing, I just wrote a blog about this very topic today!  I don't know if you can donate shoes, butThe Link Romania Family Shoebox Appeal needs your shoeboxes filled with a small gift for desperately poor families in Eastern Europe. The Link Romania Family Shoebox Appeal has been in existence since 1992 and has brought happiness and hope to many thousands of people over the years. It’s a really simple idea and anyone in the UK can pack up a box to send as a Christmas gift. Over the years, they have sent in excess of 400,000 shoeboxes to over 80 different locations.  See my blog for their contact info, hopefully this helps!

  4. do you not have a clothing collection place near your local supermarket ? you can put shoes in there  - or any charity shop will take them but probably not pass them on
