Shogi or Go?

Hi people i was wondering witch one did u like more Shogi or Go.

I like Go better, Shogi is OK... but finding people that can play Shogi is limited in the US. European Chess is much more common, Go is a distance second place... then Shogi and Xianqi are about even for third place... probably because unless you read japanese or chinese characters... people may be reluctant to learn it. They think they must learn a new language to play it.

I believe shogi is better. Probably because it is a universal game, which means that almost all places here on earth know about chess. But 'go', well, that's another thing. For example, although it originated in the east, there are still some countries, my country for example, where we have no know-hows about the game. (philippines, btw)

Go is way better shogi is another chess game. Go takes alot more knowledge to master but the rules are so simple. Try go

Both games are extremely deep and require years of study and practice to master.  No preference here.  Odds are you'll prefer whichever game you were exposed to first, but that's more a cultural issue than a judgment on the merits of the games themselves.
