My answer is "NO"............ If privatization is done of any railways in india then it will hit ur pockets dearly....... u can ask them for improvement but not for privatization

Why do you need privitazation first of all??

No , It cannot be privatized:-

1. It is first of all a large network of transport system.

2. All the freights are taken care by government alone. Any damage to freights and trains government would pay it off. but not possible from any private to pay it.

3. Motive of the private is only profit. Welfare of common people is not taken ito interest.

4. Tariffs would be very costly. which low class people cant afford.

5.It is solely a public sector and mainted by central govt. so no question of private is arised.

6. It is not so easy to bear the buildings and a cost of every train in whole India. It takes lakhs of ruppees to build just one locomotive and one train.

7.The rail rods it self are so costly that no pvt company can afford to track in untracked places.

hence is not advisibleto privatise.

No,it is not desirable,nor possible.We in India normally speak agaist Indian Rly.,but in other countries people simply wonder how such a mamoth infrastrctures are maintained.The late running of trains are generally due to reasons other than the failure of Rly.management.Managing such a big manpower is simply wonderful.However the development activities are not matching and some dicisions recently taken are not favourable for the future.
