Shooting pain in wrist

I have a sharp shooting pain right under my wrist it comes and goes and some days I do not have it at all. It is my left hand. It never feels numb or tingly or anything. Just these random pains. I also have a sharp pain when I am trying to open a hard bottle cap or something like that. Again not always just sometimes. That pain takes my whole hand tho and it seems like it rediates from the palm. Does anyone know what it could be? I am in my mid 20's.

  1. It may be carpal tunnel.  Try to give your wrist a rest for a few days... don't do anything that may stress it.  Some develop carpal tunnel from simple tasks like typing or stirring -- avoid these.  If the condition subsides by the second or third day, you will know that it's carpal tunnel.  If you still have a problem, you should consult a doctor.  Good luck!

  2. Hmm that's a difficult one, it could be nothing but my friend had the exact same problem and one day she went to see a doctor and found out it was a defunctioning nerve, don't no much more that, if your really concerned go see your doctor

  3. Try looking up this problem on the web site

       www.webmd.com

They have many different way to identify your symptoms and how to treat yourself of determine if a doctor's visit is needed - ither way you will get a better understanding of what is going on and how to help it!

    Good Luck!
