Shoplifting in New York City?

I'm 17, pregnant, and never been in any type of trouble before. When? In early June after my Docters appt. What? I decided (like an idiot) to go into Food Emporium and take a plate of chicken and rice, bottle of Ginger Ale and a box of Lorna Doones. Came up to $21 Why? Hungry hadn't eaten in days. --- So I got caught refused to sign a paper (like an idiot) NYPD was called. i was taken to the precent. Let go 5 hours later with a paper saying be to court next month.

SOOOO I goto court tmrw just wondering what's going to happen. First offense. Petty larceny

isn't there a  Free Soup Kitchen in your area? or a Food Shelf.........   you may be registered with the C.H.I.P.S. program for being an unfit parent........   if you have money to go to a dr. appt. then you have money to get there, & you must have a place to live, as you ARE ON A COMPUTER!!!!.........  so I doubt this question..........is TRUE!

You MAY be offered a chance at restitution You will PROBABLY get probation. In my opinion, you should, LOSE the child. You obviously are not fit to be a parent.
