Shoppers, parents, students, where can i find a ......

i have searched at numerous stores- Wal-Mart, Staples, Sears, New Balance, Luggage stores, Ross- u get the picture! I am trying to find a messenger bag. I have found small ones, but i need 1 that will hold a laptop and about 3-4 small books. I dont want a backpack or a rolling backpack either. so any suggestions?

I got mine online from Amazon.com (weirdly enough). www.Timbuk2.com sells some really nice ones that I've been eyeing, too. ;o)

Don't really know what you are trying to spend or how big your laptop is, but here is a list from zappos of just their laptop bags from $40-70. There are several messenger styles. You can also check out their messenger category to see other that might work.

I know Old Navy got some in.  I got a messenger bag from their sister store, Banana Republic, two years ago and it's still good and I still use it on a daily basis for school.  You might want to check there, too.
