  1. For mens clothes I would recomend Dzung's.  His shop is at 23 Nguyen Huu Canh, his phone is 8439724 in District 1.  I had a suit made by him a 3 weeks ago and it is fantastic.

It is a little hard to find the first time so call him and get directions.  He is very fast, good, reasonable and honest.

I have use him everytime we are in SaiGon, which is every year.  Cheers C.

  2. The cool thing about Saigon is that there are streets devoted to one type of product. Tell the concierge or hotel owner what you are looking for and they will give you a street name  that caters to those type of items. I really don't spend enough time in Saigon to remember all the names of the streets.

As far as tailors, like fightmedic, I use an excellent tailor. His name is Sy Tam and he is on Bu Dien street about 100 meters past Santo's Pizza on the right hand side of the street. He does excellent work at a fair price ($65 for wool tux, silk vest and cotton shirt). Bu Dien street also has lots of art galleries if you are looking for handicrafts and Santo's Pizza  makes a great club sandwitch.

    Good Luck
