Shopping List/ Advice for community college

I am starting community college in late August, and I am not sure what supplies I should get. You know school stuff. is it different for community college from regular college?

You will need tons of paper (both lined and unlined), pens and pencils. Invest in a few strong binders and plenty of dividers to help yourself stay organized. Depending on the courses you are taking, you might need math supplies like a calculator. It is also wise to invest in a good dictionary and book that can help you with citing sources in a variety of formats because each discipline requires sources be cited in their own format. Make sure you have a good backpack to carry everything in, too.

I always waited until I actually bought supplies to see what was listed on the syllabus for each course. The basics like paper, pens, pencils and binders are good to get now but everything else can wait until you have specifics from the professors.
