  1. Les Halles  You can get the metro straight to it Chalet-les halles & la fayette is opposite the opera house ,Val d'Europe  is outside paris on the way to disneyland , its an outlet with desinger stuff very cheap

  2. Well, there's Le Forum des Halles, the metro station is 'les halles' (duh).

There's Le Carroussel du Louvre (station Louvre... duh again) but it's kinda small.

And there the 'grands magasins', the big shops: Les Galleries Lafayette, Le Printemps or Le Bon Marché.

  3. The Carrousel du Louvre is a small, multi-level shopping center under the Louvre and Tuileries.  There's a Sephora, Lalique boutique, and a shop called Resonances among others.

Les Halles has many shops including FNAC.

Then there's the Galleries Lafayette.  I haven't been there, so I cannot comment.

There are several small shopping...courtyards, I guess you'd call them.  They have names, but I couldn't tell you what the names are.  Galerie Vivienne is one of them, I think.

There's another mall, like an American mall, somewhere on the right bank.  If I remember exactly where it is, I'll come back and update this answer.

  4. Le 4 saison - La defance

Lafayette and Printemps - Opera quarter

    BHV - Hotel de Ville

Then there are others in Rue de rivoli, Les Halles and Place D'Italie

  5. Someone already suggested Les Halles and I would AGREE!  It has everything and it easy to get to!  Just take metro or RER to "Chatelet/les halles" and follow the signs to "forum les halles".  My fav stores there are the tea place, muji (japanese store - very fun!), FNAC is there! (like best buy, circuit city), there's a movie theatre there too.

But another place no one has mentioned that I LOVE is:

    Bercy Village

    Cour Saint-Emilion Metro Line 14

It has many very cool shops and restaurants as well as a move theatre!  My fav places there are the pet store and the art stores... (and there's a starbucks, club med world, a gym, fnac)... tons of stuff!  it's a bit outdoors too so very nice place to walk, shop, go see a movie...

  6. Purpose built shopping centers are not as common in France as they are in the United States. The Forum Les Halles in Paris is one such place however.

The French version of an outlet mall called La Vallee Village (3, cours de la Garonne Paris 77700) where over 75 leading ready-to-wear, table ware and luxury labels offer their previous season's collections (minimum of 33% reduction (off original recommended price) and up to 60%).

Its actually outside Paris but easy to get to. by the RER commuter train to the Val d'Europe station.

Better still, three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays), there is a Cityrama shuttle service that goes there. Departure from the Cityrama agency, place des Pyramides, at 10:15 am and return to Paris at approximately 5:00pm.

The fare is 15€ round trip. Reservations are required by 5:00pm the day before departure, at your hotel desk or Cityrama agency.

    Their website is here:http://www.lavalleevillage.com/lavallee/...

There is also the The Quai des Marques It also sells lots of last year clothes and features 73 fashionable brands, most of them french.

The Quai des Marques is located 9, Quai du Chatelier 93450 Ile Saint-Denis. It is open from 11am to 8 pm from Mondays to Fridays and from 10am to 8 pm on Saturdays.

It can be reached by taking the #137 Bus marked "Direction : Industrielle Nord" to the Blvd. Marcel Paul Stop.

It has a website here: http://www.quaidesmarques.com/
