Shopping crisis! I am way too picky, can't find stores with good clothes at the right $, please help!!!!!?

Question

Today I tried to go back to school shopping at stores like Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Bloomingdales, Forever 21 etc.

I was at the mall for 2 hours and did not find one thing! The few things I did like were SO expensive, and I can't afford much with a budget of $240 dollars.

I'm 14 by the way, I like preppy clothes, and trendy stuff. Pretty much anything cute. I'm not a big fan of abercrombie or hollister cuz some of the clothes there are just so overpriced, and trashy.

I feel so stressed out and I have no idea what to do! school starts in two days and I need some back to school outfits! Usually when I go shopping I Just buy like one shirt, or one sweater, not any outfits. So I'm trying to learn how to buy my clothes in outfits so I can build a wardrobe .

Can someone please help me deal with my problem?

Like what are some stores I can shop at, etc?

summer shirts for 12$- to like 20$, umm
