I need to find car insurance in a few days.. I'm with progressive now and they just doubled it. I had a few tickets since then and i always just got a dui DROPPED.. I am suspecting even though it was dropped that still has something to do with it.. But anyhow, the real question here is.. I am applying for quotes now and they ask "Amount paid out for property damage " from an accident two years ago I was at fault in.. I have no idea.. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to go about finding this out. Thanks.

  1. They want to know from you how much money in damage you costed to the other insurers.

Basically how big was the damage you did and how much it was. If you are hunting for a cheap quote, see this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.

  2. you should go to http://fsturl.com/BC and if you enter your information into the form, they'll give you a quote from different companies and you can compare the different prices for different services. it saves you a looooot of time. i ended up saving about 250 dollars a year.

  3. They are asking how much damage was caused by your accident. How much was the cost of getting the car of the other driver or the damage you caused to property instead of a car fixed. In other words, how much did your insurance company have to pay for the damages you caused? This shouldn't be required, this will be helpful if you know the amount. If you don't know the exact amount, you probably don't have to worry about it. The tickets are going to put you in  higher risk as you probably already know. However, you are on the right track to getting the best deal for auto insurance by shopping around. You should be able to find a company that can save you some money. Be careful while driving and try to avoid any tickets or accidents in the future. You could possibly lose your license or get it suspended or you may not be able to get insurance coverage. I have been in your situation once before, I got into 2 accidents and 2 tickets within a week apart. My insurance rates sky rocketed. Keep shopping for quotes and I put a website that may help you keep any other tickets off your record and may offer good rates on insurance in the resource box,

  4. You would need to phone up the insurer you were with at the time and they will have the information on their records.
