Shops in Chelmsford Essex?

Question

Anyone know of any kinda non mainstream shops for mens clothing in Chelmsford, Essex? I have heard there are some down Moulsham St but havent found em. The only place I like shopping in Chelmsford is H&M, which is rather limiting, there used to be a topman which aint bad, but I think thats gone now its just topshop now with womens stuff. Please help!

go to freeport in braintree, better clothes and you may get a bargain

My partner really struggles to get anything in Chelmsford like you say its cheap and nasty. River Island is the only place he will shop (its upstairs) normally we go Lakeside, alot more selection.

Don't shop in Essex, you will end up looking like all the other Essex boys.....

Don't bother with Moulsham St. There's not much there at all to be honest.

Have you tried looking in Meadows? Not sure about mens shops but there could be some?

And have another look round High Chelmer (the one next to Topshop)... sometimes there are shops that you just miss out when browsing... you never know, there could be something.

But to be honest, Chelmsford isn't that great.

Try getting a train up to London for a day to do one big shopping trip.
