We are planning our honeymoon and our other ports-of-call shore excursions have been booked... we're having a hard time with Cabo San Lucas though... we are both interested in historical and artistic things... does anyone know of something along those lines to do in Cabo? Say a museum or... anything really?

Any information about Cabo will be greatly appreciated... thanks!

  1. We spent our honeymoon on a Mexican cruise also.  I could not find the shore excursion we went on last time but we will be going to Cabo San Lucas again this month as part of a Carnival cruise.  You didn't mention the cruise line you will be with.  The excursion we chose is titled "Todos Santos Nature, History & Arts".  It is an excursion to the town of Todos Santos.  We will be taking a guided tour around the town and we are suppose to see historic homes, painted murals, art galleries, and the oldest theatre of Las Californias.

    I hope this helps.

  2. Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo don't really have that long of a history.  The area was basically created for tourism.

The primary activities in Cabo are basic tourist things:

Sport fishing, snorkeling, water sports, para-sailing, outdoor recreation (ATV's & horseback riding), golf, shopping, dining and nightlife.

Cabo is beautiful.  You're only there for a short time and you will be disappointed when it's time to leave.  However, culture is something Cabo is a little short on.

    Have fun.

  3. Great place to para sail .......

  4. We went there this past year and we decided to go on the highlight tour and we got to go to San Jose Del Cabo and there is a town square and a Catholic Church you get to visit and you get to see a lot of sights and beaches and mountains. Our tour guide Armando or something like that was really nice. I think that you would enjoy doing the coastal highlights tour.

  5. the best type of excursions in cabo are mostly water related, like diving, snorkling ect.. but shoping isnt the best, and let me tell you now. if your going on a cruise, DONT book the excursions on the ship, trust me, ive been there 4 times, and there are always people holding signs trying to get you the best deal :] why pay $80 more for the same excursion
