Short 3 stanza poem please give opinions?

i hide behind a smiling veneer.

never shall you see my tear,

never shall you know my fear.

i hide behind a sweet illusion.

never shall i reveal my sadness,

never shall i unbosom my woe.

i hide behind a victorious veil.

never shall they behold my failure,

never shall they witness my decline.

It is nice lyrical strain .

A short nine lines poem in iambic tri-meter, the poem reveals the inner state of the mind of poet. She pretends she is happy and smiles. She wears a mask of sweet illusion. She hides behind a veil of victory, her decline and her failure.

Indeed very rightly a great poet has said ,

" Pain is the hammer of God."

He beats us, hammers us, fires and moulds us , so that we become fit for being his receptacle !
