My fiance is Military and I want a cute, small quote to put inside his ring that fits with us being apart. I can't find one and I am NOT poetic, unfortunately. Anyone have any ideas?

Engraving the inside of his ring is a wonderful idea. I did so for my husband, even tough we are not separated. You won't have much room to work with so you'll need to keep it short. I like "Miles apart, close at heart"

Or another one that has more of a hidden meaning is "underneath the same big sky"

My boyfriend is also military.  I've always liked the saying,"Never apart, maybe in distance, but not in heart" Or if you want something smaller you can probably tweak it.  "Apart in distance, but not in heart" or "Miles apart, but close at heart."  

Just some ideas!
