  1. College ball isn't always about height, it's also about how good your game is.  Being 5ft. as an outside hitter is difficult in college ball but not impossible. It all depends on what position you want to play and how hard you work for it.

  2. ohhh my godddd,  i go there too. cant wait till u come!!

hun, they dont care if ure short, they only care if ur good a good player, i hope u r.

    cu thennnnnnn!!

  3. Absolutely no chance of this ever happening. Wadsworth Highschool Volleyball

  4. Hm im only in Junior high but i have a friend thats really short and hes soo good at volleyball... maybe youll get in if youre really good, hm... like if you jump high enough to spike or block then youd probably get in. short skinny people jump higher since they dont carry all that baggage so yeah MAYBE. ull get in good luck ^_^

  5. Have you ever heard of 6 foot defensive specialist, no they are all short so they is a good chance that you can still play at a college level.

  6. It depends on your position. If you're a front row player, then no, there's a 99% chance that your not going to be able to attack against the 6' something girls setting up blocks against you. But, if you're back row, have a nasty serve, can return an attack or serve, then you have a higher chance at being able to play at the college level. If you're 5 feet tall, and a libero, you have an even higher chance of it, because liberos are generally small, scrappy, fast players who know how to get down and dig just about any and every ball. If you're a setter, it's not likely, but still an ok chance if your sets really are on point.

  7. I don't know anything about college volleyball teams, but I do know you can be an awsome volleyball player even if you are over 3 feet tall!

  8. if you're a girl, i guess it's possible. if you're a guy, unless you're really really really phenomenally good.

you could always play libero or as a defensive specialist (nonrestricted libero).

if you could jump really really really high, it just might work...

in the collegiate level, they call 5'8" setters small, since the setters are usually one of the shortest players on court, i think 5' may be too short, even for a setter.

if your coach sees a really great potential in you, you could play as a backrow setter where you always get substituted when you rotate to the front row

stick with the libero or DS positions

  9. Well there is no possible way you will be able to get in the front row but you can still play in the back.  I know there is a team in the same conference as UCONN, St. Johns, who is number one in the conference and their libero is only 5'2" but she is SO AMAZING!!!  You have to be a extremely amazing player to make up for your height and you have to be really, really quick since you don't have a big as a reach, but there is always a chance.

  10. IF YOU GOOD YOU CAN PLAY IN COLLEGE BEING 5 FEET OR 6 FEET TALL GO FOR IT AND GOOD LUCK:-)
