Question:

Short shower curtain liner to hang above a shower door that's too short?

I just moved into a new apartment that I like a lot, but the shower door is too short. When I take a shower, water drops fly over the shower door onto the toilet and bathroom floor, getting things wet. I want to buy one of those spring-tension shower rods to put above the shower door and hang a short (1 to 2 foot in length) shower curtain liner to prevent the water from going over the top of the door when I shower. Does anyone know if there is somewhere I can buy a short liner like that? I've looked at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target but they only have full-length liners. I could just buy a full-length one and cut it, but I thought I'd check first to see if anyone sells what I'm looking for.

  1. no such thing on the market,,,,just cut one yourself

  2. i was searching online but can't come up with anything. i would just get a cheap clear liner and cut to the size you need. just make sure you cut long enough to let the water that hits the liner to drip back down into the shower. ( have an inch or so overlap) oh and measure the opening for the tension rod. you may need a shorter than average one. if you can't find a short shower curtain rod look at the regular drapery rods you may have to spray an acrylic on it so it won't rust.
