Question:

Short temper?

I've noticed that I have a short temper and I get mad easily. I yell the instant I get ticked off. My head hurts while I'm on the phone with my boyfriend b/c I argue with him for no reason (which is so wrong, i know). What's wrong with me? I get mad at people for the smallest things and my mom says I think the world revolves around me and I must get what I want or I'm not happy. I really do want to change and not seem as a two faced *****.

I basically had the same problem I still do what I usually do when it comes to like people at school or other places I usually tap like a table or count to 10 and ignore them but if they are like in your face try to ignore them but if they keep talking then you have the right to yell . Umm I had this like short tempered ness for like years and I dont think you can really get rid of it but try counting or tapping or anything that calms you down but if your like me and nothing calms you down then just say it I argued with my bf for no reason too but he understood so I hope that helped

  4. I think it's hormones. We ALL have to deal with anger problems, and we all tend to act that way sometimes when on our periods. Just notice a pattern of when you get ticked off and try to stop yourself from feeling that way from the beginning. Such as counting to 100, listening to music, laughing (always a good cure!), or just some physical exercise can calm you down. If you notice you are being a bit snappy, just apologize and tel them to not tick you off. They will understand and back off. I would apologize to your boyfriend before he dumps you. Practice calming yourself down and apologizing when you errupt and you wil change...in a good way! ;) Good luck!

  5. I guess you're just a short tempered person. This may sound really dumb but try watching the movie The Brave Little Toaster. That movie always makes me more warm hearted and calm. :D

  6. I know what you are talking about. I used to be like that too. All you need to do is think before anything comes out of your mouth. It's kinda hard but just pause and then reply. Pick your battles. And if you get mad, walk away, go to your room, leave in 5 minutes you feel better that you didn't say anything you didn't mean.

  7. its ok to feel mad, just talk to your parents about it, wen i was in seventh grade, i was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... pissed off at my teacher i stapled his for head twice! it felf wonderful!

  8. if you feel guilty about anything that usually makes you get ticked pretty easy... hiding anything from anyone can make you angry... ask someone (boyfriend, mom, friend) if they can just listen while you spill your guts about everything that bugs... i did it and it helps
