Question:

Short term lets in London? (About 2 weeks)

I am going to London for a short course and a couple interviews. I would like to have the use of a kitchen, so I think a hotel is out, but don't want a shared house. Anyone have any suggestions?

And of course I don't want to spend heaps of money, which is a tall order for London I know.

Thanks

  1. Try searching for short let flats london or holiday flats London, etc., in a search engine. That's what I did. You may have to go through a lot of sites, and compare! compare! compare! - but it can be well worth it.

I found a great place back last October that averaged about £45 per night near Kennington Station. It had a nice kitchen and laundry. Sot it can be done, it'll just take a bit of work.

  2. Here's a link to short term lets currently on offer in London:

You may find a studio might suit you well. (A one room space with your own kitchen and bathroom, so no sharing required).

Obviously the further out you go from Central London, the cheaper the rent will be - but be aware of tube costs. (Get an Oyster card).

    Good luck :)
