Short term parking at heathrow?

Ive got to drop someone off at terminal 4 heathrow does anyone know the parking situation e.g how long can i park outside before getting ticketed ,and ive got the same problem picking them up .

You cannot park outside at all. There is security there all the time and they will come and tell you to move. You are allowed to drop someone off and unload the luggage just outside the terminal entrance, but you cannot stay for a longer period of time.

When waiting to pick them up, there is a short-stay car park that you could use. It will cost you a couple of pounds, but that would be my best tip. Just have your friends/party meet you there or have them call you when they're outside the exit and you can drive up and pick them up then.
