Shortcut method to solve SUDOKU?

Is there any shortcut method to solve Sudoku quickly say in 5 mins?

It's kind of something you can't explain very well. If you play it many times you end up finding a way to do it yourself. I had people ask me questions and I tried but they didn't get it.

Okay. Sorry if this sounds a bit funny. I usually do sudoku puzzles box by box, but sometimes it's easier to solve them by number. So start with ones (or whatever) and go through each line/box and check if there is any of that number. If there is, move on. If there isn't figure out the number. Sorry if that was a bit confusing.

I like to look down the first three boxes and see if any two boxes have the same number. If so, I take the third box and try to find where to place that number that both of the other two boxes have. <--Confusing =S  Sorry....    OR just look down the full line and see which lines need which numbers. Helps a lot!!

The trick to solving sudoku is hard to explain. As you get better at figuring it out you will develop your own srategy.
