The Chamber’s 17th Annual Shotgun Scramble started on the 21st of November and was able to raise more than $ 3,000 last Saturday.
Recent reports state that the event had been carried out in order to support the Eloy Chamber of Commerce at the Robson Ranch. The fund raising was thus carried out in a golf course proving the best surroundings it could offer.
The Shotgun Scramble was arranged and overlooked by Belinda Akes who is the Executive Director of the Eloy Chamber of Commerce. Akes managed to organize an amazing event that was played in the best weather the players could possibly
imagine.
According to Akes, the overall conditions of the course had been so grand that nearly everyone who was present at the GC was able to enjoy the settings.  The Director further added that the entire event had been just amazing.
Among the winners, Gerardo Ramirez, Jaime Danner, Jim Barclay along with Ryan Porter managed to stand at the top of the score board. With the Golden Eagle Distributors foursome coming first in the Scramble, the SRP’s foursomes
were seen presenting tough competition to the players. The latter foursomes were listed as Benny Marchese, Bill Santistevan, Scott Schusler and Tom Van Tress who were able to grab the runner-up position.
As far as the third place of the competition is concerned, Richard Akes, Michael McClintic, Ralph Amato and Jimmy Rodgers were the lucky foursome to grab third place.
The Annual Shotgun Scramble included several affairs for men as well as women such as the longest drive, the longest putt and the closest to the pin.

Among those who won the closest to the pin award were Jim Bredlinger and Sandy Kasik. The players hail from the HASA and the Great Western Bank.
The longest drive award was handed to Scott Schusler along with Kasik who was also reported to being close to scoring a hole in one.
The longest putt was played by Gerardo Ramirez who celebrated this honour with Paula Lambert from the Great Western Bank.
As far as the sponsorships were concerned, the event was backed by a number of sponsors such as Platinum sponsors-Golden Eagle Distributors and SRP, Gold sponsors-Great Western Bank, Eloy Fire District and Central Arizona College.

The candidates were treated with much appreciation as they were indulged to a lunch of hotdogs and hamburgers along with a basket of prizes and raffle items.
