Shots needed for college...?

Does anyone know what shots and how many students have to get before they go to college? I'm scared to death of needles and I'd like to know so I can get it over with as soon as possible!

Typically you can choose to sign a religious waiver if you really don't want the shots.  That is what I did (my personal religion of avoiding needles).  Ask the college if this is available and also ask what shots they typically require (and why).  Then you can discuss with your doctor what shots the college recommends and what you feel you should have and get the shots by choice (you may even choose to have extra).

Each college will have their own requirements (contact the colleges you are considering).  Usually you don't need new shots, you just need your immunization records.
